Ethan Don: The first thing that immediately catches my attention are the retro colors and sprites. The designs r simple but super clean and I love it. I am also a big fan of rhythm games so seeing a unique take on rhythm games with powerups and enemies is really cool. The UI and gameplay was really clean and it made me want to keep playing. As with any rhythm game though, the more levels you have the better. But besides that, the actual gameplay is awesome!
Sergey: The demo was fire. This game seems to offer a unique combination of survival, rhythm-based mechanics, and music, which creates an exciting and engaging experience. Overall, it is really cool.
Anik Barua: Loved the theme! The music picking concept gives a really good experience with the gameplay. Also, I really liked the shield feature you guys implemented to save the spaceship. Nice work!
Remi Vaughan: Visually it is lovely, and the main mechanic is simple yet well executed. Things tend to line up well, too, making the gameplay satisfying. From here, I think the best thing you can do is add more variety to the music, and maybe make it faster to it can really scratch that rhythm itch. Also maybe adding customizability would work well since this is a mobile game
The UI and sprite and the style of this game is very polished and good-looking. I think giving the player more room for error can make the gameplay more interesting, especially in the first few levels since I find it very difficult at the start. But once you get the hang of it this game can be very fun and addictive. Also I think the choice of song for the second level could be improved. I think a song with more percussion would have worked better
Chenny Yun: I love the simplicity of the game. It really helped me focus on the gameplay, which is definitely your standout feature. I think one small improvement would be the addition of some animations for the ship rotation, so it doesn't feel as choppy. Overall, the game feels very good and enjoyable!
Justin Rivera: The sprites and UI are well done, your whole game agrees on a single style and it all connects very nicely. If anything, maybe just some more moving parts on the screen (ex. slow-moving stars). I actually like the minimal appearance, so any additions to the appearance don't need to be crazy but I think it'd be a nice touch
Shangyu: Although the game is simple, I really appreciate the model design. This retro pixel game brings me back to the arcade game halls of the last century, and I love the nostalgia it evokes. The attention to detail in the model design is impressive, with each pixel carefully crafted to create a charming and immersive world. Additionally, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the trailer production and editing. The pacing is excellent, and it really captures the excitement and energy of the game. I think this game is a great example of how simple designs and mechanics can create a fun and engaging experience. I am looking forward to playing more of it and seeing what other surprises await.
Jack Liu: It seems like an easy game but it in fact requires a lot of skills when you reach the end of each level. You need to change the color very frequently and sometimes there is not enough time for you to react. And the trailer you made is really impressive to me. It feels like a trailer of a big movie and it definitely can attract more people to play it. It is a nice game overall!
I like the aesthetics of the game. The songs are also really nice. Not sure if I missed it, but a high score feature would be nice. The pause button and tutorial are also useful.
Yuxuan Lin (Kerwin): The desert planet vibe is cool and unique, and the color scheme really makes it stand out. The trailer got me hooked as well. The attention to detail in the character sprites and environment design is commendable, adding depth and immersion to the overall experience. Great job!
Christ: This is a really cute and interesting game, which I like the game design and sprites created. It feels so smooth when I played this game. By the way, I love the trailer of this game is because it's kinda like TV series lol, which indeed triggered people's interest to explore what's going on the game. Well done!!!
I really like the overall desert planet style of the game. The color scheme of the whole game matches the whole theme very well. At the same time, I feel that this kind of yellow color is rarely used in games, so it looks very new. It actually reminds me of two things: some easy-on-the-eyes Code Editor Theme and the movie Dune.
